Joel Lawrence
Joel Lawrence Jayasunthar is the Director of Technical Operations of Asian Environmental Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (AESSB), bringing over 26 years of experience in environmental engineering and consultancy across Malaysia. A registered Consultant with the Department of Environment, he has successfully led more than 100 EIA studies spanning industrial, coastal, infrastructure and large-scale land development projects. Joel holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Malaya and an MBA in Project Management, and is a certified professional in multiple disciplines including erosion and sediment control, environmental management systems (ISO 14001), and water quality modelling. Beyond his professional work, he is deeply committed to supporting environmental NGOs and actively contributes to raising environmental awareness through public engagements, advisory roles and knowledge-sharing initiatives. His combined technical expertise and passion for sustainability position him as a trusted leader in delivering impactful, responsible and future-focused environmental and ESG related solutions.

Norizan
Norizan Abdullah is a registered Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant with the Department of Environment (DOE), Malaysia, a Malaysian Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC), and a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She has over a decade of experience in environmental consultancy since 2011.
She has extensive experience in environmental assessment, environmental management, and regulatory compliance across a broad range of infrastructure and development projects. Her work includes the preparation and review of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and Environmental Monitoring Audit Reports (EMAR), ensuring compliance with national environmental regulations and industry standards.
Her technical expertise includes soil erosion and water quality modelling, which she applies in impact prediction, risk evaluation, and the development of effective mitigation strategies.

Farhana
Farhana is an experienced Environmental Consultant with over a decade of professional practice, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry and a Master’s in Environment. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in the preparation and management of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and environmental monitoring reports, as well as a wide range of technical environmental documentation. Her project experience spans across land development, sewage treatment plants (STP), and scheduled waste recovery facilities. She brings a strong analytical background, practical field experience, and the ability to deliver clear, comprehensive environmental solutions tailored to project and stakeholder needs.

Hanna is a methodical and detail-oriented environmental consultant who combines strong regulatory compliance knowledge with practical site awareness. She demonstrates clear and professional technical communication, consistently producing precise documentation suitable for audits and formal submissions, while also being highly observant of on-site environmental issues. Importantly, she is solution-oriented, ensuring that identified concerns are supported with actionable recommendations, making her effective in bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and real-world implementation.

Syamimi
Nurul Syamimi Fauzi is an Environmental Consultant with experience in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) reports in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia. She possesses strong technical expertise in environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, and impact assessment, particularly in water quality, waste management, geology, GIS and pollution control. She is also a Professional Geologist registered with the Board of Geologists (BoG) Malaysia under the Geologists Act 2008. With a professional and detail-oriented approach, she is committed to supporting sustainable project development while ensuring full compliance with applicable environmental regulations and best management practices.
